We visited the cave first which was beautiful, riding the train was a highlight. We then visited Ljubljana and Antonio gave us a walking tour, pointing out famous monuments and buildings, we then had free time to explore ourselves and met back at a designated spot. “Seven of us booked the tour. I chose this tour because I didn’t want to worry about getting the tickets to the cave as they were not available online. Maya picked us up at our hotel at Zagreb. The minivan was super clean and comfortable. Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle were just amazing. I have been to many caves in different parts of the world, Postojna Cave definitely is the most worth visiting. “We had the best day on our Best of Slovenia day tour. Our guide, Harry, was the great. He was very apologetic that he was late - not his fault, no rental cars were available. He was very congenial and conversed with my husband about many topics. Harry was incredibly knowledgeable of US politics, so my husband loved talking with him. “The cave was amazing...definitely a must-see if you will be in this part of Slovenia. Would suggest that the driver wear identifying business clothes and/or carry a sign for the company. Our departure was delayed and that of the other customers because we did not recognize him in the hotel reception.”
